Commercial Real Estate: A Bright Spot in our Economy

According to the latest economic forecast released by the Mortgage Bankers Association, the country’s economic growth should return to near normal growth during 2007 and 2008, after some slow down for the remainder of 2006, according to its Chief Economist and Senior Vice President for Research and Business Development, Doug Duncan, and commercial real estate activity is expected to remain a bright spot in the economy.

FFCFC 504 Funds a Cool Manufacturer |

| Rini Technologies (RTI) was incorporated in 1997 and it began research on innovative thermal cooling systems for both military and commercial applications soon after. Originally housed in the University of Central Florida’s Technology Center, Daniel Rini’s company applied to FFCFC for 504 financing in April 2005 to accommodate its growth by purchasing a 12.000 square foot building located at 582 South Econ Circle in Oviedo for $1,411,000. The 504 was funded in September 2005 and the company moved to Oviedo shortly thereafter.

“As for the national trend, our panel of experts is finding that office-condos are cannibalizing the office markets for small, defined users in both the neighborhood and medical models,” said Mary Hurley, who was recently named among the year’s Top Women in Florida Commercial Real Estate by Florida Real Estate Journal.
