| FFC Helps Hundreds of Florida Businesses with Bridge Loans |

Florida First Capital has so far aided more than 280
Florida businesses that were impacted by recent
hurricanes. At the request of the Governor's Office,
FFCFC is administering the largest portion of the
State's small business emergency bridge loans for
businesses damaged throughout Florida by Charley,
Frances and Ivan.

| 7(a) Fees Rise, Piggyback Banned |

Earlier this month, SBA raised 7(a) loan application fees
and banned the use of piggyback deals. Fees for
smaller loans double, and the loan maximum has fallen
back to $1 million.

SBA NEWS Disaster Loans Available For Hurricane Victims |

Loans to businesses of all sizes and non-profit
organizations are available up to $1.5 million to repair
damage to real estate, machinery, equipment and
inventory. Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are
also available to small businesses unable to pay bills or
meet operating expenses.

| 504 Borrower Fee Declines 27% |

Effective October 1st, the 504 borrower fee declined
from 0.393% per annum to 0.288% per annum, a 27%
decrease and the 5th consecutive annual reduction.
