SBA 504 February Effective Rate Falls to 6.14%

The 20-year 504 rates announced Today (2/11/2004) are:

Effective Rate: 6.14%,
(1st 5 years): 6.01%
Note Rate: 4.79%
Debenture Rate: 4.72%

The 10-year 504 rates are:

Effective Rate: 5.64%,
Note Rate: 4.01%
Debenture Rate: 3.87%

    7(a) Cap Remains; Fees Slated to Rise
    .
    For now, the 7(a) rollercoaster ride appears to be over as the previously suspended program was reinstated last month. The $750,000 cap remains in place, and SBA has prohibited "piggybacking."
