  • Todd G. Kocourek
    President & CEO
    Todd serves as President and CEO, reporting to the Board of Directors. Based in the corporate offices in Tallahassee, he has direct management responsibility for operations of the company. Todd first joined Florida First Capital as its General Counsel in 1998 and was named President and CEO in 1999. He is a member of the SBA North Florida Advisory Council and Vice-Chair of the Board of the Florida Export Finance Corporation.
  • Deborah E. Petrell
    SVP & Sales and Marketing Manager
    Debbie serves as Senior Vice President & Sales and Marketing Manager and is based in Boca Raton. She has more than 35 years of experience in the real estate industry. Before relocating to South Florida, Debbie was an officer of Pilgrim Colony Homes, Inc., and its subsidiaries. She was responsible for developing over 500 single family homes and several commercial and industrial parks in Massachusetts. Debbie then formed Domenic Financial to originate A&D loans for local developers. Before becoming Florida First Capital’s top producing Business Development Officer, she was the Vice President of Research and Finance for the Broward Alliance and was responsible for processing industrial revenue bonds and tax credits for Broward County. Debbie has a B.S from Emmanuel College and an M.B.A from Simmons Business School, Simmons College, Boston, MA.
  • Carlos Calero
    VP & BDO for Miami-Dade Area
    Carlos serves as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Miami-Dade area and is based in Miami. He has more than 20 years of lending and marketing experience. Prior to joining the company, Carlos served as a Vice President, Commercial Lender, for Espirito Santo Bank in Miami. He also holds a Florida mortgage broker’s license, and he is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. Carlos is responsible for two South Florida counties: Miami-Dade and Monroe.
  • John Hanrahan
    VP & BDO for Central Florida
    John serves as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Central Florida area and is based in Orlando. He has more than 10 years of experience in finance and marketing. Prior to joining the company, he was Vice President and Account Executive for GE Commercial Finance in Orlando. John also served as a Credit Manager for Wells Fargo & Company. He received an MBA from Rollins College. John is responsible for 10 Central Florida counties: Brevard, Citrus, Lake, Levy, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia.
  • James Hosman
    VP & BDO for Northwest & Florida Panhandle
    James serves as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Northwest & Florida Panhandle area and is based in Pensacola. James re-joined the company in 2010 after parting in 2008 to serve as chief operating officer for Martin Construction, Inc. in Atmore, AL. James formerly served as a Vice President for Florida First Capital between 2002 and 2008. As a former Certified Business Analyst with the University of West Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC), James is well versed in assisting clients with preparing applications for Small Business Administration loans, developing business plans, improving management procedures and expanding marketing activities. He is a member of the SBDC Network’s “Lenders Hall of Fame,” and he was named one of Florida Trend Magazine’s Trendsetters: Today and Beyond. James is responsible for 18 Northwest & Florida Panhandle counties: Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Taylor, Wakulla, Walton and Washington.
  • Vincent “Vinny” Muratore
    Regional Marketing Director & VP for Treasure Coast, South Florida & Tampa/St. Pete Areas
    Vinny serves as Regional Marketing Director and Vice President for the Treasure Coast, South Florida and Tampa/St. Pete regions and is based in Boca Raton. He has more than 40 years of commercial and Small Business Administration (SBA) financing experience. Prior to joining Florida First Capital, Vinny was Regional Director for Zions Bank for the State of Florida and Mid-Atlantic Region. He was a Founding Director of Flagler Bank, a former Director of GulfCoast Business Finance and a former Vice President of SBA Lending at Comerica bank. Vinny also currently serves on the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) Region IV Liaison Committee and the NAGGL Conference and Education Committee. Vinny is responsible for six Treasure Coast and South Florida counties: Broward, Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie . He also covers five counties in the Tampa/St. Pete area: Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk.
  • Kristen L. Tackett
    VP & BDO for Northeast Florida
    For close to a decade, Kristen has served as a Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Northeast Florida territory and is based in Jacksonville. During this time, she has put together more than 500 deals resulting in several hundred million dollars in Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loans. She has consistently been one of the industry’s top producers. Prior to joining Florida First Capital, she earned a B.A. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Marketing from the University of North Florida. Kristen has successfully completed various banking courses through the Risk Management Association and the National Association of Development Companies. 504 lending is her passion and her many years of industry experience and her tenacious never quit approach to lending makes her an excellent partner to both businesses and lenders. Kristen is responsible for 16 Northeast Florida counties: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Suwannee and Union.
  • Gail Lagace
    SVP & Credit Manager
    Gail serves as a Senior Vice President and Credit Manager and is based in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. Her primary responsibilities are the oversight of the credit department staff including credit underwriting and processing of SBA 504 loan packages throughout the state. Gail has more than 17 years of experience in credit underwriting and structuring small business loans. Prior to joining Florida First Capital, she served as a Senior Risk Analyst and a successful sales team leader covering the Florida market and the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions for General Electric Small Business Finance Corporation.
  • Angie Palmer-Graves
    SVP & Credit Underwriter
    Angie serves as a Senior Vice President and resides in the Jacksonville office. Her responsibilities include credit underwriting and processing of loan packages throughout the state. Prior to joining the company, Angie was an Underwriter for the Jacksonville Economic Development Company and a Credit Analyst and Assistant Vice President for Bank of America.
  • Sherry Mojtabaee
    SVP & Credit Underwriter
    Sherry serves as a Senior Vice President and is based in Miami. She has more than 10 years of experience underwriting SBA 504 loans for commercial real estate and equipment for small businesses. Sherry focuses equally on direct loan generation and credit analysis. She provides hands-on training for both local and statewide lenders and packages and processes joint loan requests with these same lenders. Sherry also serves as the primary contact with borrowers for all issues leading up to loan approval. Prior to joining the company, she worked as a Senior Vice President for another certified development company.
  • Lynn McDaniel
    SVP, Director of Loan Administration & Closing Manager
    Lynn serves as Senior Vice President, Director of Loan Administration and Closing Manager and is based in the corporate offices in Tallahassee. She has been with the company since 1999 and has more than 30 years of experience in banking, administration and management. Lynn is primarily responsible for management of both the 504 closing pipeline as well as the 504 loan portfolio. In addition she oversees multiple other loan portfolios administered by FFCFC for the State of Florida. She brings to the position a high degree of specialized knowledge regarding the principles and practices of the SBA, as well as a well-rounded understanding of the organization as a whole. Lynn has served in multiple capacities within Florida First Capital and she brings a broad range of experience to the operations of the company and has become an integral part of its growth during her tenure.
  • Barbra Boutin
    Director of Corporate Administration
    Barbra serves as Director of Corporate Administration and is based in the corporate offices in Tallahassee. She is responsible for staff management, human resources and accounting. Barbra also works closely with Florida First Capital’s credit, closing and servicing departments to streamline administrative procedures. She has more than 10 years of management and economic development related experience. Previously, Barbra served in various management positions at Walt Disney World Co., as vice president of business development at the Economic Development Council of Tallahassee/Leon County, Inc. and as CEO of the Florida Economic Development Council, Inc. She graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. degree in business administration.
