FFCFC Day Proclaimed in Miami-Dade County
On June 15th the Miami-Dade County Office of the Mayor and Board of County Commissioners proclaimed Florida First Capital Finance Corporation Day in Miami-Dade County.
The proclamation was presented to FFCFC Chairman Ben McKay during the company’s annual Meeting of the Membership held this year in Coral Gables. It recognizes FFCFC as the largest 504 lender by loan-dollar volume in Florida and commends the organization for financing more than $388 million in small business loans last year. Since opening a Miami-Dade office in 2003, FFCFC has lent more than $184 million to local small businesses, which has helped create more than 1,200 jobs in the region.
“I call upon the good people of Miami-Dade County to join me in honoring Florida First Capital Finance Corporation, thanking everyone affiliated with this prestigious organization for the valuable work they rendered towards enhancing and elevating the fiscal endeavors of our small businesses,” the mayor and commissioners proclaimed.
