Distressed Communities: Florida DCA Seeks Feedback for Enhanced
Community Revitalization and Business Development
In 1999, Gov. Jeb Bush created the Front Porch Florida Initiative within the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) as a means to rebuild distressed communities. Now DCA needs your input to guide the redevelopment of this initiative.
The research company ADG has been retained to conduct a new market study project that will be completed by May of 2007. Through the systematic gathering, recording and analyzing of data, the market study process will yield information that may determine additional pathways for enhanced community revitalization and business development in these distinctive areas of Florida.
