SBA To Reorganize Liquidation Operations

SBA last week began what appears to be a major reorganization of the agency’s liquidation operations. Up to 200 agency employees will be relocated or offered early retirement.

"Directed re-assignment letters" have been sent to many SBA district and branch offices, offering retirement or relocation options, including to a new Herndon, Va. centralized liquidation center.

This move appears to be part of the SBA’s ongoing efforts to make the field offices more customer-focused and marketing-oriented.
